Baba Gangainathji Yogi’s Disappearance Day

Baba Shri Gangainath Ji Yogi is the Spiritual Master of Gurudev Shri Ramalal Ji Siyag. He took ‘Samadhi’ on Dec 31, 1983

Baba Shri Gangainath Ji Yogi was an ‘Ayipanthi Yogi’ of the Nath Sect.

He was born in the Sirma village of Rajsamand district. He used to be absorbed in the worship of God since his childhood. In the beginning, he was absorbed in the spiritual practice at ‘Asthalbhor Akhaara’ of Ayipanthi Nath in Haryana, Varanasi and Himachal Pradesh.

Then Baba Shri Bhaunath Ji, a Nath Yogi worshipping at Kajalvaas (a holy place which has the samadhi of eleven Nath yogi’s) called him by his spiritual powers and bestowed his power of Shaktipat to Baba Gangainath Ji. Baba Gangainath Ji stayed at Kaajalvaas for a few years. Then by the order of his Guru, he moved to Jamsar, near Bikaner where he established ‘Dhuna’ (a Holy fire which continues to burn incessantly) and performed ‘ Tapasya’ (austerities) for many years.

In April’ 1983, he called Gurudev by His Divine Yogic Powers who at that time was working for Indian Railways in Bikaner and handed over the position of ‘Guru’ to him and instructed him that ‘Vedic Philosophy is to be made World philosophy.

Baba Shri Gangainath ji took ‘Samadhi’ on 31st Dec’1983. This day is celebrated according to Hindu calendar year on the eleventh day of waning moon (Krishna Paksh) in the month of ‘Posh’ (likely to fall in the month of December or January according to English Calendar).
  • A grand programme is organized at Jamsar Ashram of Baba Shri Gangainath ji. Thousands of disciples from all walks of life gather here to pay homage and to seek his blessings.

  • At AVSK, Jodhpur ashram also a large number of disciples assemble to worship Baba Shri Gangainath Ji and to seek his blessings.

  • Jamsar lies 27 kms towards north of Bikaner, Rajasthan on Bikaner Suratgarh highway.
